Hades, the Lord of the Underworld… your boss… is pretty pissed about you allowing the bunnies to enter his domain. That’s right, bunnies! This one’s safe for the whole family, folks! Well, the game is. One day, while napping on the job, you inadvertently allow a group of bunnies to enter the land of the dead. You play as “Cerberus”, the 3-headed demon dog that guards the gates to the Underworld. It is no longer available for download on that console, but those that purchased it prior to the Marketplace shutting down can still play. The game was also one of the last released on the Xbox 360’s now defunct Indie Games Marketplace, selling for the low price of $1.
Chasing Styx is currently available for free download on Steam. The game was developed by an indie company named Forepaw Studio. But that came at the cost of doing major sales like selling the game for only $5 USD which means their profits off their first game would be around the same or less of that of the second.Chasing Styx is a 2016 “bullet hell” shooter with 16-bit “adventure game” aesthetics. Which for a studio isn't so bad, though their first game did much better coming in at 500K to 1M but that seems like the game went viral. Further more the sales of the game were pretty respectable coming in between 200K and 500K. So it's hard to say jokes are bad or good. As I know for myself I rather enjoyed them while you didn't. Also the jokes are always going to be hit or miss as that comes down to the person playing the game. Um I feel like you're views are a bit bias as you seem to have nothing good to say about the game yet the game takes everything the original did and improved upon it. It could have sold decently if the comedy didn't scare the customers away. The fact that it was a pure stealth game, it isn't stealth action like MGS/Dishonored. I think there's more of a change of a new Splinter Cell game than a Styx game. Although the devs said it is not out of questions that one day they will make another one. It was actually the first game made of the three.īut aside of that, there are no more games in this franchise.
